The happiest place on earth.....

DISNEYLAND

We normally wouldn't have hauled Jude to Disneyland until he were older and could totally appreciate it, but once again Marc had to go for work and the venue was literally at the Disney hotel, we thought we'd tag along and just see how Jude liked it. He loved it. We were so surprised. He would point his finger at everything and say "Ride it!" He wasn't scared of anything and just enjoyed it all. He took a few spills running around as most kids do, but on one of his short trips to the pavement he must have smacked his tooth....again. He chipped one of his little front teeth. It is just a little chip but at first I thought he looked like Lloyd Christmas, but now I'm used to it and no one would ever notice it. We had such a great time. We were honestly depressed to leave. It is truly magical. We all felt like kids, it was so great.

Jude so far is such a good flyer. I hope I don't jinx it by putting it in writing, but I've got to give it to the kid. :)
I was even able to veg and play tetris. I felt like I was on the flight alone, but Marc played Mommy for a bit.

We started our theme park adventure off by hitting "It's a Small World" It was the perfect, eerie ride to jump start us.

While Daddy waited in long lines we ran around.

Toon Town was so cute. Jude loved it and we spent a lot of time there.

He had to climb on every chair in Mickey's house.

This is how you say nap time in toddler. (This was Jude's most epic melt down of all time.)

It rained the majority of our second day there. So while Marc was waiting in line to get in we hid from the rain.

Gotta love when theme parks have things to entertain kids while waiting!!

Buzz lightyear ride

The carousel was a total hit. You wouldn't know it from this picture, but he loooved it.

Telling Daddy all about the carousel.

The Toad. ??? We need to catch up on our Disney movies.

We think Pirates of the Caribbean was his favorite ride. Now he is in love with pirates. This is his cute grasp on Marc's thumb that he did the whole time, each time. We rode that bugger 3 x's.

We met tigger and pooh bear.

Had to get a mickey mouse ice cream.

Magical night at Disney

Jude Loved this "Dinosaur Dragon"

Busy gazing on the Dinosaur dragon.

The Rain Forest cafe was a total highlight as well.

We had one day to spend not at Disneyland and Marc was busy at work. So I thought, Meh, go ahead splash in that fountain for a minute. Next thing I knew he was upside down in the fountain.

Nothing a little ice cream (A.K.A. Ice-a-cream) won't fix. He was so impressed when he got the whole bowl in one scoop.

Wasted some time at the hot tub. It was too cold and rainy for the pool and water slides.

He woke up the morning we left feeling a little warm. When we finally made it home and I check his temp it was over 102.

Awesome Autumn

This has been such a beautiful fall season, we are trying to do all the fall things too. We made pumpkin cookies, painted a pumpkin, built a Halloween candy house, Oktoberfest. This is the best season of all of them and there is no better place to spend it then in Utah. It can't be beat.

Jude's loving his birthday presents.

Carried this Alligator from his birthday cake around for a full day. It got pretty disgusting by the time I threw it out.

Loving all the Halloween stuff everywhere. He is extra curious about witches, ghosts, pumpkin/jack-o-lanterns, and wolves.

Painting pumpkins.

A hot fall day

I babysat my neighbors two girls and one is a baby and I busted out the bumbo to feed her in and Jude was suddenly all about it. Shocker.

Oktoberfest at snowbird is a must for fall. We LOVE it and Jude was old enough for the sledding this year.

Jude caught two bugs this October so far and the most recent one he had a temp over 102 degrees. Daddy was so sweet sitting there watching him sleep so concerned.

His first chicken noodle soup when sick. :(

I'm just amazed at how quickly the weather can change. We went from sweating to death in tank tops to sweaters and hats and think blankies in what felt like a week.

This sand turtle is the the most amazing things ever!! (Thanks Kristyn.) Jude will play in it for hours while I busy myself in the house. (Before you call DCFS, I can always see him through the glass door or the window, take a breathe.)

Jude wants Mac 'n Cheese (A.K.A. Yellow Pasta) for breakfast every morning lately. I am just happy he'll eat something. I could careless what it was. :)

He's fascinated with our neighbors witch. (It's one of those that looks like it flew into the side of the house.)

Grandma and Grandpa moved recently and Grandma gave Jude this car ramp thing. He is obsessed.

Making our Halloween house. Marc and I quickly took this project over. Poor Jude got to eat it the next day though.

Walking in an autumn wonderland. Trying to take advantage of the canyon leaves before they are totally gone. Tear.

Collecting rocks to throw off the bridge.

A family pic. WAHOOO!!!

Our forgotten child. We still love her but she has definitely taken a back seat since Jude showed up.
