Is it winter, spring or summer....

aside from the freak weather we are having, we are having so much fun. One minute we are bundled with hats and coats, the next a swim suit and flip flops. Jude is so silly and is literally talking non stop in full sentences. He can recognize the majority of his ABC's. He's a smarty. I'd love to see him in preschool if he's ever leave my side. He's my little partner in crime.

Some day I am going to miss this sweet scene. Jude loves to walk Sundance.

Jude-o and his daddy. Every free second Daddy has is spent doing something silly.

I love this. It is just so little boy.

He hands his hands in his pockets a lot lately. I think it is super adorable.

Then a preview of summer came and we took advantage and got water out and everything.

Jude is in loooove with bugs. He followed this fly around for about 30 minutes.

This is his attempt to hug the fly after several kisses.

Then back to winter. I wanted to take Jude up skiing on more time before the snow was gone. I am so glad I did. He got even better. Maybe it had something to do with his crazy daddy being there to motivate him.

We took Jude out on a date Friday night. We got some yummy food and Monsters Inc in 3D just happened to be playing at the theaters. It was so meant to be.

We let Jude pick out a candy and he was really good to wear his special glasses.

Once again...Daddy is testing the laws of gravity and Jude loves to be his guinea pig.

My little skiier

It was really hard to get a video of Jude skiing. This is the best I got. It sounds like he wasn't loving it in this video. I was sending him the opposite direction then where he wanted to go.

My Baby Boy

Jude-o! Your parents are so smitten with you. We often sit and talk about how cute we think you are and discus the silly things you do and say. Your daddy would do anything for you. If you find an interest in something. Your daddy is suddenly just and interested and is on a mission to find everything that has to do with your latest love affair. He adores you. I love watching you two wrestle when he gets home from work everyday. You two have a darling relationship and your bond literally gets stronger everyday. Your momma is a sucker for you too. We have so much fun together everyday. I love showing you new things and taking you around to explore. You are such a tender, sweet little boy and I could snuggle you in my arms forever.

Being silly visiting the girls I used to work with.

You looove Sundance and are almost constantly messing with her. But learning to be really soft with her too.

You love to go sledding. You spend hours going up and down.

So sweet! I never want to forget these days.

Mr Miami. Daddy brings you home a souvenir from every work trip. This shirt is your latest.

You love to help out with everything.

You love the new undies I picked out. Now if Mommy can teach you how to wear them.

No one can make a mess like you.

This looks like some crazy guy you'd find hunting with his bare hands in the wilderness.

We took my sweet nephew out for a farewell dinner the other day. He leaves to join the few, the proud...The Marines. We are so proud of him.  We'll miss him like crazy and we appreciate his sacrifice.

We still like spending time at Thanksgiving point.

Lately Jude has been doing this funny thing with his hands. He gets so excited and tells me his hands are hugging. He holds his hands like this for several minutes and repeats to me "Hands hugging!"

SKIING
on a whim the other day I rented some skis and took Jude up to Sundance. He looooved it. I pretty much spent the morning just pulling him around. He was loving the idea of it though.

Stopping to eat some snow

Cooling down with a snack in the fridge after skiing.

After nap time and lunch we headed out for some more skiing. This time we just went up American Fork Canyon and skied on the cross country trail. It was perfect for him. And he was actually skiing on his own.

weekend getaway

Spur of the moment Marc and I were talking about how nice the weekend was going to be in St. George and the next thing we knew we were loaded up and on our way. It was so nice. We enjoyed the sunshine to the fullest. Lots of hiking, biking and playing at the parks. We had a really great time. Jude was so intrigued with all the cactus. We were obviously making a big deal for him not to touch it. I think that got him really curious. Later that night he woke up in the middle of a deep sleep, sat up and said, "Baby like it cactus!" Then laid back down and went to bed. We about died, we thought it was so funny. Silly little sleep talker.

Started the drive off with a nap.

First thing we headed out for a hike.

The next morning we started off with a hike up Red Reef. It was so beautiful. We were in awe.

This is Jude throwing rocks in the water right before falling in.

Jude staying warm. Daddy kept calling him a wizard.

We took a bike ride up snow canyon. I always underestimate how amazing this area is until I get there.

One of the highlights from the trip for Jude was a Caterpillar that he found.

Getting cozy at the hotel.

The drive ended the same way it started. In snoozeville.
