To Christmas and Beyond...

Jude had a darling little preschool program. At first he was excited to show off his bells he had made and was getting pretty excited. Then a mom sat next to him and freaked him out and he didn't move the rest of the program.

He gave us lots of scowls.

We made some reindeer cookies. I always have to remind myself cooking with kids is totally different then just whipping something up. We made a HUGE mess.

Poor dog. Jude looooves to mess with Sundance. She is so good to just sit there and take it.

I told Jude it was time for a quiet time the other day and he ran and hid. This is where I found him. Covered in flock of course.

We love our annual trip to zoo lights.

Sundance and Santa. :)

Cruising around downtown SLC is one of our favorite Christmas activities.

We rented some skis for the season and it is so nice to head out even to the backyard when it snows.

Finally it was Christmas Eve. Milo gave to Jude and He gave him a great big hug.

Jude was dying to give grandpa his present all night.

Jude was a darling shepherd in our family nativity and was so sweet to give baby Jesus lots of kisses. He must have been nervous, because he couldn't stop chatting softly the entire time.

At last it was Christmas morning.

Was so excited that Santa remembered to bring him a candy cane. He even through in a sucker.

Don't you love when you can hear them though a picture. I hear his soft "oohhhh" in this one. Every present he opened he'd say over and over, "What's it going to be?"

Day after Christmas at Brighton. We met Ali and Marriott up there and let Jude ski just a little and then Marriott and Marc took off on their own.

This kid can sniff out a Daddy project like nobody else.

Luckily Daddy left the ladder out for Jude in the morning even though his project was done. He had quite the game going with Daddy to climb up and kiss him and climb back down. It didn't get old.

Something sweet Jude does that I never want to forget is that he has to be sitting as close to us as possible. It is so sweet to watch him scoot right up to us.

Captain American Doggy. Such a fun goofy kid. Loooooves walking through the snow and sliding around on slippery ice.

I just love when it wears him out. There is nothing better as a mom then when your little super hero passes out in your arms. Please tell me he'll never stop doing this.

Baby update. My stomach is growing like crazy. I am thrilled to be passed the half way mark and pray every day that he'll stay in there until April. I know I am so ultra sensitive to every thing my body is telling me and on the 23rd my stomach was tightening and releasing and it wasn't in a pattern so I just kept doing my thing and tried drinking tons of water and taking it a little extra easy. I don't think I have it in me to have a 23 week preemie. I barely survived a 31 weeker. Later in the day the tightening did become rhythmic. About every 5-6 minutes. So I loaded up and drove myself down to labor and delivery. Everything checked out okay and the sent me on my way with some instructions to follow. I'm pretty sure this is going to be a LONG (hopefully long) next couple of months for this worry wort. also, daddy and Jude have both been able to feel the rambunctious kicks. Blew Jude's mind!!

23 weeks pregnant and I look about due. AHHHH!!! I can hardly put my shoes on and pick something up off the floor. All worth it though. :)

Ringing in the holidays

Daddy finally made it back from Australia. He brought back this awesome boxing kangaroo that Jude has had so much fun wrestling.

poor Daddy was so jet lagged and Jude was so happy to have him back and hung all over him every second he could.

He thinks he is so funny. I guess I do to though. :)

We took Jude to cash in his piggy bank and he got a balloon and some M&M's with his money. Silly boy. He was very pleased with his balloon and that thing lasted for waaay too long.

I've been cleaning all the baby items we have and Jude took it upon himself to test them all out as well.

After a delicious Thanksgiving dinner we all headed out to see the new Disney movie Frozen.

It's become a tradition to go watch Santa fly in on the Helicopter every year.

Then we head off to find our lucky Christmas tree

Then of coarse we decorate it.

After our trip to Florida we came home to what felt like several feet of snow. Jude was ready to jump right in. I am not sure what he likes better sandy beaches or snowy hills.

Slides are 1000x's better covered in snow. They are speed rockets.

I love when I walk out of the shower to find my teenager playing games on the Ipad

Our Elf finally showed up. I am going to miss him hanging around keeping a three year old in check.

All Jude wants for Christmas this year is ONE candy cane. He is very insistent on just one and the other day we found what he had in mind and so we took it home and left it out for Jay (our elf) to take to Santa to bring to Jude if he's a good boy.

Posing with Jay. Just a little intimidated.

We also went up to SLC and did the Christmas lights and toured around the city.

Crafting it up. Jude made a darling wreath and a little Santa and reindeer that hold his picture.

A ten minute walk in the stroller is an hour with Jude running free. But we had nothing going on today and the weather was beautiful so I let this crazy snow hound do his thing.

He is super obsessed with the treadmill. Could play on it for hours. Only problem is he wants me to play on it with him. He needs a little brother sooo bad.
