We made it to California. The boys were so good on the flight. I think if it were 5 mins longer we all would have gone a little crazy though.
Jude buckled up safely in his seat, he also had to make sure his little captain was buckled in safe as well.
The boys
Relaxing after the flight.
Our Thanksgiving Day feast
of course we were itching to get down to the beach, Luckily we had amazing weather for Thanksgiving and it helped us keep a clear head about how much we really do have to be thankful for.
I'm a little obsessed with exploring this beautiful place.
So proud to call these rascals mine
That weekend also held fun festivities downtown. Like Elf in the park and the always popular bouncy house, and a whole lot more.
He's feeling the Christmas spirit and hauls this Santa around while in his Santa hat.
Jay, our elf, also showed up shortly after we arrived to our new house. Jude sat there and stared at him for the longest time and just chatted with him about what he would like Santa to bring him.
He's getting his room all set up by putting his glow in the dark stars up.
We've also been doing some exploring around the neighboring cities. Our first stop was Venice Beach. There was certainly a lot to look at. Then we cruised over to The Grove, which was adorable and very crowded.
We also spent a day in San Diego. We loved it and played so hard.
Eating some yummy lunch at this adorable restaurant.
Followed up with Ice cream
We stopped on the way home to see the seals in La Jolla
We also spent a beautiful day in Laguna.
We have also spent a lot of time just around our beautiful town of San Clement. The boys just love the beach and could play in the water and sand all day or just taking a simple walk along the pier. I love how exhausted they get as well. I always get the most amazing beach snuggles from Avi as well.
It can be a little tricky getting into the Christmas spirit without snow, so we are finding fun ways to help. We also found a cute spot where someone had brought Christmas trees down to the beach and decorated them.
Decorating a Gingerbread house. It was only a matter of time before it seemed like a better idea to decorate himself.
We were out doing some Christmas shopping and Jude can sniff out Avenger stuff anywhere. He spotted this huge Captain America from about a mile out. His face says it all.
Decorating our backyard with ornaments
Baking more gingerbread. This kid genuinely likes gingerbread. I am not such a fan.
We rode the Ferris wheel at the Spectrum.
My lil duo. I love watching these two slowly figuring out how to coexist together and enjoy it. I hope so much that they will be the best of friends someday and always have each other's back.
Somewhere in the midst of all this chaos, this sweet lil guy turned 8 months, and finally, finally, finally got his other front tooth. He was the cutest billy bob one tooth lil thing ever.
We are all so exhausted by the time we make it home in the evenings.
