The second best thing to having the Murdocks move to California with us, is a visit out here. Jude could hardly handle the suspense of waiting for his cousins to get here. He had a list about a foot long of all the things he wanted to show them. The day finally came.
Jude Had new costumes to show off. Nyla was so lucky to get the Santa hat.
Jude talked a lot about how he wanted to show these guys the pier. They had so much fun running around and looking off the edge.
Then on to beach play. No one can tell these two that they weren't out on the big waves on surf boards, because that is what was going on in their heads. Nyla was having so much fun running around.
The ocean has always called to this one.
The babes just partied in the sand. It breaks me heart that we have split up these two babies. They couldn't even handle being apart in heaven for more the three weeks and now we moved two states away. Poor babies!
Marc and I requested the beach to ourselves for our visitors. :)
They don't even feel a little cool.
Maybe I could get used to the idea of three little boys.
We spent a little time scoping out Laguna Beach
We had to hit Disneyland. It was 1000 degrees and 100% fun.
Souvenirs
Nyla and Eeyore shared a special moment that none of us will ever forget. I cannot see Eeyore without thinking of this moment. I can't believe we almost didn't wait in line to see these guys.
Love the difference between little girls and boys.
Baby besties
Of course the boys had to get their souvenirs to the beach like real pirates.
Until the waves called them back for more. I know it won't be long until they really are hauling surf boards out there.
Then back to one more duel.
Then we said our goodbyes over a fountain filled with Jude's tears.
We had so much fun and hated to say goodbye. We made so many fun memories.
