Halloween and activities

Carving pumpkins with Daddy

The result was pretty impressive.

We couldn't stop with one

I signed this turkey up for preschool. He started getting freaked out of kids. Every time we would go to a park and kids were there he'd have a full blown panic attack. So I am hopefully going to nip that in the butt with preschool before it gets worse.

Jude was obsessed with this pumpkin ghost in our neighborhood. He actually asked for me to take his picture with it. He's too silly.

One of our daily adventures walking Sundance

Another Sundance walk, he has to stop and check out everyone's pumpkins and give them hugs and kisses.

We even drag Daddy into it when he's not working

Naps are becoming a thing of the past. The other day I thought he was being so good in his room napping and walked into this beautiful sight.

Halloween day I wanted to do something festive and needed to kill some time. This was my solution. He takes his job as an artist VERY seriously.

The bottom left he was impressed with his hand sharing paints with his other hand.

That night we made our way up to Kristyn and Nick's. They are always so gracious to host us every Halloween

This was the best shot I got of the crew

Daddy helping him ease into it

He just stood there forever with this lady. It finally hit us that he didn't know how to pick a piece of candy with his full hands and he wasn't giving up his shield or bag easily.

Our Halloween Disney adventure

We some how became those people that just loooove Disneyland. I never saw it coming. But we jump at every chance we can to go there. So when Marc found a deal next thing we knew it was booked and we were ready to go.

We flew in Sunday and planned to spend Monday and Tuesday in the Park and fly how Wednesday. We had to just laugh at our luck when we saw the weather forecast. Fortunately, we just got a tiny bit of rain the first morning and that was it. We felt so lucky.

Sunday we spent on the waterslides at our hotel. They wouldn't let Jude go down with one of us, he had to be so brave and go down on his own, and these were BIG water slides. (for a three year old) But he did it and loved it. He had one time where he came down backwards and head first that scared him away for a little while but he was back on the saddle pretty quick.

We also took that day to continue our accidental tradition of eating at the rain forest cafe. Jude was terrified/intrigued by the gorillas that come to life and shake the trees and grunt and go a little nuts, and the sat us right by one. We were loving Jude's reactions. Here he was protecting Daddy and keeping him safe from the gorilla. He wouldn't let Daddy go back to his seat for a very long time. He needed to protect him. Come to think of it... he wasn't too worried about Mommy. Hum.....

Wouldn't take his eyes off the gorilla for a second.

Finally it was Disney time. We tried to hit all the busiest rides early before they got too crazy.

Such a 3 year old.

Much better

Love these blurry boys running through the line to ride Monsters Inc.

A little worried about the jungle cruise

We splurged and did Mickey's Halloween Party and, like most things at Disneyland, it did not disappoint. Jude was proud to troop around in his Captain America costume, which is everyday clothes at this point.

Killing some time waiting for Daddy in the worlds slowest Starbucks line.

Loved the Halloween decor at Disney

Someone was up VERY late.

Back at it. Day 2

breakfast at Disney

We ventured over to the pirates lair. Jude LOVED this. It was our first time over there.

The haunted mansion blew this lil guy's mind. It's now all he talks about and tries to recreate it at home.

Daddy and his boy at the top of the tree house

About to go cruising around downtown disney.

What a way to say goodbye... and goodnight. :)

Jude was in love with our Disney bed. There is a switch that you can hit and it turns the lights on and plays a cute Disney song. Jude would do it over and over and over and.....

We obviously had an amazing time. We have loved spending some quality one on one time with this lil guy before his only child card expires.
