NYC 2013

We might be dreaming a little bit, but we would love to have and annual NYC trip. So far we are two years in. :) We love renting a little (or huge by NYC standards) apartment and just come and go as we please. Jude already has a soft spot for NYC in his heart. We rent bikes and throw Jude in his seat on the front and off we go. We bike EVERYWHERE! We are all so tired and all of us pretty much crash around 8:00 pm. We party hard.

After a Red eye flight over we had to wait until 2:00 pm to check into our apartment. (We arrived just before 7:00) We were super tired but so excited to get our trip started. We killed a lot of time in Central park that first morning. I forgot Jude's shoes when we dropped off our bags and so Jude just spent the entire time running around in his footy jammies. I was so disgusted but out of options. :) The pic on the right looks like a big foot spotting.

We quickly made our way to Times Square to hit the Toys R Us store. Jude was dying to see the T-rex. Who is broke right now but still fun. We had to make our way down there twice for this obsess-er.

We claim the toy stores are for Jude but I think its pretty obvious who really wants to stop in.

Jude could not get enough life cereal while we were there. Pretty much breakfast, lunch and dinner.

BIKING!!

Returning the bikes at the end of trip was a heartbreaker.

The many parks

The high-line park

Just out and about

This is the subway ride that Jude almost started a riot. (I'm exaggerating, but it sure felt like it.)

The Natural History Museum

The Cab ride back to the airport. Always a bitter sweet.

What a fun tradition! I'm so jealous. We're dying to get back there but it's so hard and expensive with two littles. Blah! Hopefully someday soon we can make it back!

Did you go to FAO schwarz? I loved that store! That Toys R Us looks pretty awesome though! It looks like you had an awesome time! He's such a cute little stylish buddy!
